Yeh we just need a small one to keep our house warm. A bit expensive though but it is worth it. :)

@vsai2008 Yes I think you can, but the installer had put a hole in the roof for the chimney so I guess better just to leave it in the house and maybe sell it to the new owner.

@angelmels Yes. My son heats his whole house in the winter with a fireplace.

No fireplace in our home as it is already hot here in the Philippines. That is a lovely fireplace that you got there.

@angelmels yes, but I doubt if those get used often. It is cold in Baguio but not that cold.

@allen0187 I had seen one before when I was young. Maybe old days colder.

I love to have a fireplace like yours.
I bought my dogs one, not like yours of course. Everytime I have it on for them, they both run away. My family told me that they are smart as they don't want to be cooked... hahah... I love sitting there watching the fire with the heat...

@angelmels but I feel so lonely to be outside by myself with the dogs...so I often watch the fire from the inside... and the dogs all run away of course.

Yes your country doesn't need a fireplace, it's good you can just enjoy your weather without being so cold.
