Today, I made a pot of Green Bean Soup with a Pressure Cooker. Normally the boiling process takes around an hour to break the green beans down but with the pressure cooker, it took 30 minutes, saving half of the time.
Pressure cooker on the gas stove saves more energy than using a slow cooker.. My mother in law used a slow cooker to boil green beans for 12 hours, from night 10pm to the next morning 10am!!
Green beans also known as mungo beans are common cooling drink that we can boil at home, save cost, cheap and a BIG pot that we could drink several bowls per day.
Have you tried mungo beans / green beans?

It's been a long time that I haven't eaten mungo beans in my meals. I will try to buy the next time i go shopping for groceries. Just hoping that I can remember buying it when time comes
