Soft Copy Vs Hard Copy

Some years ago, whenever you want to read a book, you've got to go to the bookshop and buy the book.
But nowadays, you can download a book from the internet and read.
The cost of download a book from the internet is less than that of buying from the bookshop.
Which one would you prefer or which one do you suggest?

I still prefer real books made of paper.
Right now I'm reading a book about addiction to technology and it says that one absorbs a lot more when one reads from real books than one does when reading from a screen so I'm feeling really good about my preference. I definitely find it easier to concentrate on a book than something that appears on a screen because there aren't so many other distractions available.

I would rather read a real book which I can check out from a library for free.

I still read books in hard or soft copy. Just never wanted to read books on the internet. Although I use it to read interesting 1-2 pg articles. A lot shorter time than a book would be. But to each his own

@Oshobu Not as much as I should. I'm a very active type of person who has a hard time sitting still for long periods of time. Let's just say I lack the discipline for long term reading Funny thing, sitting on a beach or by a pool I can read for a couple of hours easy Must be something about being in the sun

@dgobucks226 Just like I am. I can't read for long hours else I would find myself sleeping already... Lol... But I can solve maths through a whole night...

I love the feel of a book in my hands. Having said that, I must confess, I have become accustomed to ordering a new book at a whim. Online sites such as Amazon are always promoting free e-books and that is where I get most of mine from.

@Oshobu Yes just do a search on Amazon for free e-books or check out sights such as bookbub dot com. There are often free books in several different varieties daily.
