What a beautiful day!

Yes, it is. The sun is shining here where I am. Besides that, it is my birthday today. I am not having a birthday party because I no longer want to work or entertain friends at home during my birthday. I don't like the hassle of shopping food or cook for my birthday celebration not like before. You see, I love to cook and bake for my friends and relatives but not for my birthday anymore as I want to be relaxed on that day. Of course, other days will be okay.
My son invited us for a lunch in an Italian restaurant today as one of my birthday present. I love Italian food. After that, I will be climbing the 200 steps of our cathedral here and take a video of the Rhine river from the top of the cathedral. I hope I can still reach the top stairs like 10 years ago. After that, I will go to a huge Fleamarket in our city as the whole weekend is an event weekend. That is what I love in our city as they are celebrating for me without knowing it.LOL! 
This happens every year on, before or after my birthday and of course with fireworks at the Rhine river. Cool, isn't it? The fireworks was already last night and I was there with my friends watching setting at the bank of the Rhine river.

Happy birthday! Hope you enjoy your day! My birthday was low key as well.
Hubby is off to a bow shoot competition. Little Miss and I will be visiting her mother for at a park today. Then we are off to my brother and sister-in-law's house to meet and maybe share a meal later on.

Thank you very much @ElusiveButterfly. I have observed that the older I get the more peaceful birthday I want. Lol! Maybe that´s a sign of aging.

Thanks @SYMPLYD. No, I didn't have pasta as it is often cooked in my kitchen. I ordered what I have not eaten for a long time. I ordered Shrimps in anchovie tomato sauce with fried potatoes. It was so yummy

What could be more beautiful but remembering our most important day. Indeed this is so special for you and though you have no party but the Italian food that your son gave to you is more than enough for your celebration.
