Stage Mothers

I had to share this photo with you. My son sent it from Michigan during dinner with my ice princess and her mommy. She is pretty enough to model, but mommy is very against it.
My granddaughter modeled as an infant for a Canadian organic clothing company. At another photography session, my daughter-in-law encountered crazy stage mothers, who wouldn't allow their children to eat fruit in case they got dirty or even have a drink of water! Immediately, my daughter-in-law stopped with the modeling thing.
My granddaughter still models, but only figure skating warm up clothing. My daughter-in-law knows the owner of that store and shops there often. There are no crazy stage mothers there!
Do you know any child models?

No I do not know of any child models and that is a beautiful photo of her Dianne.
She really is a doll.
Yes, I can just imagine the insanity of some of those Moms.

My oldest daughter was in a couple pageants and I saw what some of those girls go through. I was not one of those mothers, and it got expensive quick but I wasn't interested in allowing her to grow up in that "world" anyway.

No, I have never been around any, but there are two child actors, brother and sister in town that are very good.

No don´t know any of them but I can imagine how they are.
She really is lovely in that photo.
Her Mom is right to only let her model those kind of clothes.

@lovinangelsinstead21 All I know is that she placed. I still haven't spoken to my son or received the video. He flew home yesterday and has work. He's been on vacation for three weeks and is so busy.

I don't know any child models but I'm not surprised that some of those stage mothers are crazy. Always enjoy seeing pictures of your beautiful granddaughter

No, I don't know any, but you are right about your granddaughter, she's gorgeous! One young man in our town use to model clothing, but now he doesn't do it any more.

Yeah... That's really great to hear.Also now it is common and very special to be model after being as child celebrity.She is a shining star equal to sun.I only know just now about Little beauty Ice Princess as model.Oh...she is gorgeous

She is pretty. If she can't model at her age now, maybe her mother will allow her on her "teen" years. I bet she'll get many offers.

I am with your daughter in law on this, my brother was against letting my niece be a child model. There was a Filipino Mom who wrote for Bubblews who had her (very) young daughter modeling for Vogue. Poor kid, she was harassing the poor baby. A 3 year old needs to play with the other kinds, not to pose all the day.

@DianneN They asked me to bring my daughter once. I took her and when I saw the mom's and how they were acting towards their kids, I got up and left. I told my daughter this was no life for her. Most mother's were sore losers and this reflected on their kids. One little girl was so rude and snobby. I didn't want my daughter growing up like this.

I desired to have a model child espeasially girl . I tried to find a tall man to be my husband. To give birth a beauty. Listen to your heart but don't forget about the destiny. I met my medium height hubby and gave birth a beautiful son. that remains to be seen, whether that girl be a model or olimpic champion

@DianneN you are absolutely right, he is now taller than his fellows of the same age and I believe he will be much taller than his parents.
