Yes, I have been out to lunch and it's almost dinner time! What a late start to myLot.
Today I met my two best friends at a local Italian restaurant at 1:00 and left at close to 4:00. Our waiter told us to stay as long as we liked, but they were busy setting up for dinner. Boy, could we gab!
Now I'm too full to even think about dinner. One meatball sounds good enough to me.
Do you ever run out of things to talk about with your friends?

@amadeo You have many friends here on myLot right? I know its not the same as I have many friends but don't get to see them very often and I miss them very much. They have busy lives working full time jobs. And I've been permanently disabled for a few years but I am pursuing a light duty job through OVR (Occupational Vocational Rehabilitation) they help people like me who have been disabled been may be able to do some sort of job working with the elderly. Like visiting them, reading to them do some light duty things like dishes or some laundry things like that. We'll see what happens its up to the Lord as I may make my plans but He orders my steps! And thats fine with me!

yes, like when we had that mini-reunion with one colleague, and we had endless chit-chat about her life in Q8, our lives here, etc, even though we communicate frequently on chat/messenger and on FB.

When I get together with my friends it is hard to leave them when it is time to go. The only thing that gets me to leave is if I have to work the next day. Have to get rest in order to do that.

@DianneN Once I went out for breakfast, with a friend of mine. Jennifer was talkative and I chimed in just as much. We were at that restaurant with our coffee cups being refilled, until lunch-time! lol

Lol! I've done the same with one of my friends at lunch today. I usually go out fro coffee or breakfast with my walking friends after our walks. We could talk forever. My husband goes out with his friend for coffee after the gym three times a week. They are like old ladies and talk sports for hours!

@kobesbuddy I'd go! Not for the fishing, but for the boat ride!

@DianneN Jay went out for a breakfast bar with his friend. Then, they ended up in a boat fishing together, for about five hours! lol He said that I should come with them sometime, I replied, 'No thanks!'

Now that I have a family, I have to watch my time when going out . But before family, oh my gosh, I had one friend whom I'd go to coffee with after skating (in the evening) - and sometimes we would hang out to talk until like 3 or 4 in the morning!!

@DianneN I can understand that. Evening on a weekday is the only time we can spend time as a whole family, so I for sure don't make friend plans then. I will have coffee with certain friends after the kids go to school - and before school gets out . . . but we keep it brief - and that's totally fine with me!
