Have you read today's news about a Bangladesh rickshaw puller who had planted 50,000 trees since he was 12 years old? He was a nature lover and the Guinness World Records should had put his name into the book for his kind deed.
With SGD $1.70 ( USD$ 1.25) per day of income, he had took a pledge to plant at least one tree per day since he was 12 years old. Now how many of us had the initiative to do such a good deed to nature by spending money on planting trees? Imagine the income he had earned daily, barely enough to feed 5 family members and yet he could save a little money to buy the plant. Why shouldn't the agriculture department give him the tiny plant instead???
It was reported that this Bangladesh nature lover was contracted with tumor, died due to bacteria in his bloodstream. Why can't the hospital do anything to save him in advance? Why are poor people cast aside when they are in need of treatment?
Indeed, he was a great loss to all nature lovers and the trees too but I am sure God has put him in a perfect place where he is held up high for his kindness to nature.
So, we should reduce using papers and wooden furniture, shouldn't we?

What an inspiring story! I can't plant trees but I can make sure my garden is full of greenery instead of concrete.
