Yep, I have written 600 of 1200 words on just one writing order. It is the largest writing order I have ever done, but I wanted to take a quick break to post on MyLot.
I was approached by a client who read my author profile on Textbroker last week, and wanted to know if I wanted to write “top”/”best” product articles based on families and children (which is stuff I have done in the past, especially when I first got into freelance writing). It would be direct orders, meaning they go straight to me, not the teams or open job board. I didn’t want to say anything until I received orders because I have been approached by clients in the past and then never received the orders. I have two days to complete the order, so my game plan is to write the order today and proofread it tomorrow, so that way I’m not “sick of looking at it” and wind up missing errors.
I think right now we’re just giving it a try, so hopefully this works out and it becomes a regular thing for a while. I’m still going to work with my other clients too, as I have learned in the past not to rely on just one client. But yeah, this could be a good thing for me. :)
Anyways, I’m gonna eat dinner, and then it’s back to work I go! :)

Thanks! I hope you can get back over there soon!
The majority of my clients are on Textbroker.com, but I find work on Zerys occasionally. I'm also on Writer Access and Content Crowd, but I don't find a lot on there right now (I'm still sort of new to Content Crowd).

Good for you. That is great. I could use a few writing jobs myself. Maybe I will try that site.
Did you get it done? How did it turn out?

@tammys85 I might look into it. I've gotten a bit discouraged with some of the writing sites, which put me off for a bit. I used to do well. Guess I just need to put my big girl pants on and get busy, lol.
I'm glad it went well. Good luck with future writing gigs!

@Lady_Justice I've been there. Sometimes you just need a break to think things through. I hope you're able to get started again!
Thank you so much! :)

@tammys85 Yes that's good and of course, we need to be discreet with what we share here.

Good for you. I hope it works out for you. I used to write for Textbroker but haven't for some time. It was a good experience.

It sounds like you are really enjoying what you are doing @tammys85
Although still a member of Textbroker, there are so many other things to do, it is not my first stop these days.
