Did you hear that Ramen Noodles are bad for your kidneys?

It may be all the salt content in those little packets, but eating them can be bad for your kidneys. I don't have them often at all, and certainly not this time of year, but some people use the noodles to make salads and so forth. I think as long as you don't use much of the salt and spice packet that comes with them, they are probably OK. Do you eat ramen?

maybe it is the salt in those seasoning packets. On the few occasions I used those noodles, I ignored their seasoning and used my own.

No I did not know that but it makes sense as all the salt in it. I only have them extremely rarely. Although at times in life, that is all I had to eat.

It's probably better not eating these much if you can avoid it.

It's been over a year since I had ramen last. I always felt the spice packet was way too salty. I don't miss them.

NO. I gave those up 25 years ago because f the salt. Yes to much salt can cause kidney failure and not less can also cause kidney failure. To much salt causes the blood pressure to rise alson My sister has to have her sodium checked monthly, she has a problem keeping it up.

Some people have an issue not being able to retain minerals in their body.

I have read they are bad diet wise. Not just the salt content but the preservative chemicals within the noodles themselves.

They are basically just junk food in a package to quiet your stomach.

This is good to know. I eat them every once in awhile but only use half of the seasoning packet.

@snowy22315 No, we don't eat ramens any more. We use to, but they are very high in sodium and many unhealthy ingredients.
