I have seen couples are doing this lately, regardless of gender. During the wake of my Uncle, we saw two couples having their sweetest moment. They are smooching and hugging, and they are both of the same genders. I don't know which is the tomboy. My Aunt was furious, so she went to them and ask for respect. Then they vanished somewhere.
During the Kadayawan festival, I and the boyfriend saw couples who are doing something in the dark. And I was like, what's happening to the world. And they look very young.
Me and the boyfriend, for past 7 years. We don't usually do what couples are doing like, we are decent enough to show our affection in public. Yes, we do love each other but we respect each other more. We don't hold hands when we go out, we don't kiss in the movie house. We just act normal and like best friends. But if we are alone, we cuddle sometimes.

maybe those 2 odd couples, both females, just gate-crushed in your uncle's wake so they can have the PDA.
i think it is not only here in our country; it is even worse in China where one man used his fi_ _er to his girl; and last night, i saw a man holding the woman's front, while on a train.
and i thought China is a conservative country.

Wow thats crazy at a wake doing those things that couple. No wonder your Aunt was furious.

We aren't PDA type either. I'll cling his arm sometimes or once in awhile hold hands but not quite too often. I don't believe in making out in public :)
