Hey everyone I hope you are all doing well.
Tonight we have thunderstorms amd I'm loving it. It's beautiful outside right now.
I'm listening to the news and I hope everyone stays safe in Texas, hurricane Harvey will be there soon. =(
My husband will be working late today so the kids and I just had leftover alfredo for dinner. Johnny will get something quick to eat when he gets home.

We are getting pounded here in Gainesville with those thunderstorms. This thunder and lightning is some of the most intense I've seen in years. It's shaking my house it's so bad!
I've got my eyes glued to the Weather Channel, watching what is going on with hurricane Harvey. I don't think things are going to turn out well for a huge swath of Texas once it's all over and done with. The amount of rain they are predicting is almost unimaginable.

@moffittjc Yeah it was intense storms! I was loving it.
I know poor people in Texas. =( I feel so bad for everyone that lives there and I'm praying everyone will stay safe.

@LovingMyBabies The unexpected rapid intensification of that storm yesterday surprised even the National Hurricane Center. It's crazy how fast things can change on a dime. I mean, they knew the rain was going to be a major issue for Texas, but now they have to factor in the rain and the wind! Not going to be a good situation for those poor people living along the coastal areas. I've been there before, and it is extremely flat and low-lying along the coast.

It was a pretty good day, with no yard work and a good guitar lesson. That Harvey storm sounds like a really bad one. I hope the flooding is not as much as predicted.

yes it was here earlier the storm. my breathing is proof of that. all the moisture. but it did cool it down nicely.

@LovingMyBabies School started today for my 2nd grader and the twins had their kindergarten assessment. Only a few more days and they will be in school as well.

I got a weather alert texted to my phone earlier today about the hurricane, then when i went to it it disappeared 
so no idea what it was about exactly, for us.. But no storms and such here so far.
Just ate half an hour ago (10), had chicken and mashed potatoes. Now waiting to have cake.

We often have thunderstorms too in the afternoon or in the evening. Luckily no strong storm in our place so far
