The boy in the picture is may be 4 or 5 years old.He lives in a slum beside a railway station with his family. In his family, he has his father, mother, grandmother & ONLY 7 brothers, sisters. You will be surprised to know that he is sitting here to get any kind of work for his own livelihood. His father doesn`t have the ability to maintain such a big family. But it`s utter surprise to me that he gave birth of 8 children. Those children have the right to get the education, nutritious foods & better environment to live. But unfortunately, they are deprived of all of these. In this age, they have to come out in search of earning money. If they can`t earn money, they can`t buy their food. What is their fault? When I watch this type of scene, I feel pity for them. What do you feel?

When I see this scenen I really sad about their life. I don't know how to answer your questions but I feel life is unfair.
All that is distinguished is that the rich are only called rich when someone has less money than yourself. Maybe that is the challenge that fate is given to that family, then to see how they overcome or how stuck in that place...

Seeing kids like that makes me feel so sad..We can`t blame the kids from suffering like that but somehow there might be a way to help them..Simply, by giving job opportunities for their parents and an affordable home and schooling..It`s much better teaching them how to earn money than giving them right away..Like what I learned from my religion saying "Better Teach them how to fish than giving them a fish" because it lasts long time than giving them a temporary taste and let them suffer thinking about that..Just sharing my views..

@fly802 ..Yes..That`s the challenge..I really do wish, those wealthy and rich people will invest money on building good business which can give more job opportunities for low education people and gives trainings in developing them by that I think it`s a Win-Win..Workers can also be a customer and Company is giving workers a earnings

Why should it be anyone's fault? The odds probably will be against them in terms of advancing and bettering their situation but not impossible. Many successful people started from humble beginnings and extreme poverty. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"

I wonder why poor people keep on producing children which they cannot support. This is common in poor communities here in my country

The right to a free education and access to free birth control would both help this situation to decrease muchly.

His father's responsibility to provide food, shelter, clothing. If he cant do then his mother will take this responsibility.and one of the important duties of a muslim is "zakat".I believe this is a solution for these kind of problems.
Every rich person who has the saving more than the nisaab level, i.e. more than 85 grams of gold he/she should give 2.5 % of his/her saving every lunar year in charity i.e. Zakat.
