There are readers and there are the parasites of books. If you are part of the parasite team: Have you ever been able to do read an entire book in a single day?
If your answer is "YES"... Which book has held your attention so much to that point and why?

Yes, I have. The book was made into a film and I couldn't decide if I wanted to watch it or not. I couldn't remember the story well. So I read it again. In the end, I decided to stick to the book and not watch the film.
The title wouldn't mean anything to you. It's a German novella.

I may have when I was younger, but I don't remember what it would be. My thing was, if I enjoyed a book enough (which was often) as soon as I finished the book I would turn it over and start again. Did this particularly with Summer of the Monkeys by Wilson Rawls.

Yes I did. The tittle of the book was chicken soup for the soul and another book. When angels appear.

No and I don't expect I ever will. I love to read(a love that I discovered later in life) but I have too many other hobbies and things that I want and have to do. Even if I had all the time in the world and reading was the only thing I liked to do I still wouldn't read an entire book in a day. It's far too easy, even if the book is really good, for my mind to wander and the longer I sit and read the more it feels like a chore and the less enjoyment I get from it.

If it's short story around maybe 20 pages, then I can finish it in a day. Otherwise, it usually take me a few months to finish reading a book.
