Hello mylotters. I seriously want to read an extremely emotional book. Specifically, something which can make me cry. And it shouldn't be boring in the initial pages. Please suggest something.

Can you imagine? I am lying, I have two on my shelf one of which I won on Goodreads.com and started but may not finish - not really getting into it. For me this is running "dangerously low" on books. I did order a couple of...

I just bought a novel a few days back. Its genre is fantasy. The title is Nevernight, and it is first one in a series by Jay Kristoff. The starting was a bit(a lot, actually) non-conventional. Five chapters in, and I think the story will be fabulous, just like...

During my previous schooling period, I have fallen into situations where I had to go up on the stage and speak stuff. I am sure most of you have faced this as well. I had friends to whom doing this stuff felt almost natural. And...

Those people had lovely voices XD. I more or less sounded like someone was forcing me to speak, while holding a gun to my temple.

Even when I learnt from paper, I would change something or the other while on the stage. And then pray I hadn't destroyed the grammar somewhere.

Imagining them in an underwear? I don't know if I could speak well while trying to supress my laughter:) Someone once told me to look at their heads. I did, it was mostly fine, but I could feel their focus on me. It was a bit anxiety inducing.

One of our teachers told us about having a similar fear issue before beginning a class. But we saw him gradually warming up to the speaking attitude as he taught us.

That sounds amazing! All I ever got to speak were boring news reports and moral passages. And well, presenting your own work in this manner is a greater achievement.

I read it already. And I predicted it well enough. I guess that's what destroyed the reading experience for me.

Understanding is what's needed. It depends on your nature what kind of person you would be comfortable with, and friend's nature would be different at least by some degrees. You need to be a good listener, but you also need to make sure that you are not a...
