Our son texted this photo when he went to Sunday dinner at the home of his future mother-in-law and father-in-law.
This is one of the first gifts his future MIL has given to him and his fiancée. It is a set of towels shaped into a wedding cake. Isn't it just beautiful????? He is so lucky to be marrying into an artistic family, full of love, joy, and happiness.
I texted back not to expect anything artistic from me.
Are you that creative?

Nope, I'm definitely not that creative but the towel cake is beautiful. It's almost too pretty to take apart and use the towels

I used to do some creative things years ago, but now I'm just too lazy! lol.
It is too pretty to take apart, but I have bought them loads of towels, so they can display it if they'd like. She incorporated their wedding colors, too. Cranberry, not red.

And here I thought the white, cake sections was just Styrofoam. Inventive idea, that cake, very nice indeed. I might consider myself somewhat artistic, since I took art classes, but I'd not think of doing something like that. I'll have to keep it in mind for when my daughter gets married in the next year or two. I can probably find it on pinterest. They make everything look artistic.
