An Embarrassing Moment!

I had an appointment out of town. It takes about 35 to 40 minutes to get there. It was my foot doctor. I have severe flat feet and have to wear orthotics in my shoes. So the doctor comes in I take off my socks and sneakers and he checks my feet and the orthotics and says everything looks great! So I put on my socks and shoes and off to the waiting room I go. It was like a 5 minute appointment! I ride a public bus to my appointments, so I called them and they said it would be about an hour. So I go to the bathroom and before I pull my pants down I noticed my zipper undone. I thought O dear Lord I've been walking around with my zipper down, how embarrassing, so I undo the button and go to the bathroom and when I went to zipper up well low and behold my zipper was broken! I couldn't believe it. Well it just so happened I had a shirt on that covered my zipper part. Has that ever happened to you? Picture by bing.com

That would be embrassing if you did not have a long shirt over it.

The whole back part of my trousers came undone altogether and I was very lucky to be close to home so I could go and get changed and also I was lucky that I wore a jumper round my waist so no one noticed it at all except me.

I think that I've been there. In my case when I went to zip up the zipper wouldn't budge, and thankfully I had a longer sweater type of vest on that I could conceal what I needed to.

I've wore two different color of shoes to work before and only noticed at the end of the day. One was black and one was light blue.

Isn't that embarrassing? It happened to me once and thankfully I had a bag with me and so I made sure the bag covered everything and hopefully nobody noticed. Now I can laugh about it!

If the shirt covered your zipper there was nothing to be embarrassed.

I have never had a zipper break on me, but one time I wore a pair of pants that the zipper just wouldn't stay up. You could put it up and it would come back down. That isn't too much fun either. Glad you were able to hid the zipper so you could return home safe and change.

It has happened to me and it is embarrassing. But as you say, I wear a shirt that covers the top of my jeans so I don't believe anyone notices.

@Butchcass4 I'll tell you something embarrassing. Seeing a woman walking across the room with a trail of toilet behind her. It hasn't happened to me yet thank goodness.

That sure is funy, my jeans button came off and I didn't know. The zipper went down on its own when I was sitting, showing my panty

I imagine most of us have been there at one time or another! Another thing is when a button goes missing. That can be embarrassing.

More times than I can count I have forgot to zip or the zipper had a mind of its own, but never a broken zipper that I can remember.

Oh yeah, and if it wasn't for a long T-shirt people would have known what color underwear I had on @Butchcass4 .
