Are You A good Cook?

Here we come across so many members who are good cooks.
Also,there are many who enjoy cooking.
Even if they are not expert cooks many love cooking.
Being able to cook for our family and friends is always is wonderful.
I am not a very good cook but I do wish I were better.
Each of us will have some dishes which are our favorite to cook.
Which is yours?

Yes,I do know you are a good cook.Do you occasionally experiment with adding any new ingredients,or stick with the proven recipes?

@silvermist I do experiments, when I see a new recipe I judge if it's something we could like and if it's interesting I try it.

@silvermist It sure is. Once in awhile I will fix up something big that I know my family likes and I will take some to them.

I love to cook. I think I am not a bad cook it is just I am limited in what I can afford.
I did learn to cook in school too properly with a good cooking teacher.

I'm not great but there are some things I cook that are really good!
My husband is an amazing cook though and he loves cooking for us! =) We are very blessed.

I'm an adequate cook. Sometimes I am an inspired cook....other times I am just lazy. My feature dishes are lasagna, cinnamon buns and butter tarts.

@silvermist I do a lot of baking before Christmas. I've made some wonderful memorable meals around Christmas time. I've also had my most crushing disaster on Christmas Day.

I like to cook for friends and family but it's a hit and a miss .
Biriyani, roast chicken,fish with curds,pork with bamboo shoots always seem to go down well

You know this is a problem in India , especially south India and Kerala in particular. Kerala women spend almost 70% of their time in the kitchen .Of course there are changes these days. The mindset of the men and kids need to change.But already I see some good changes.
