I know it's odd but it happens to me.
I was dreaming last night and it continues again. The place is too odd because it was an old place but new people in it.
It's one of the places I will never ever forgets and surrounded with new people I never met. The weird thing is I can see the lump in my right arm but no one bothered to recognize it and it comforts me. When I found out I left my phone that's the moment I woke up and fall back to sleep again. Then it continues with the same place.

I have experience this before too. Though I forgot already what the dream is about. But the same place is the setting of my dream. The characters also change but it feels like I have been before to this place is what I feel when having this dream. Pretty weird but good thing it was not a nightmare or else I don't know what to do when it repeat again.

@JustBhem Well recently I am not experiencing this kind of dream. Just normal dreams.

I always have new and different dreams. It hasn't happened to me that dreams continue when you sleep back again.

that is possible. maybe you were in your non-REM and your dream, deep at that, did not leave your consciousness that is why it was easier for you to reconnect back.

@JustBhem yes but i think you have to check if what is happening in your everyday life is not a dream. sometimes a dream is an expression of a goal that we find it hard to achieve.

Damn! That has happened with me multiple times but also the same dream on multiple occasions and also deja vu. Recently I was having a dream and woke up in the middle of the night and then went back to sleep and the dream continued from where I had left. And for deja vu many times when I am doing something I recall that this already happened and now this will also happen and it does.

It happens to me too. When I get distracted at night and wakeup and sleep again like immediately, then the dream continues. It is like the brain is sleeping when the mind is awake. You are in a state where you can chose between waking up or sleeping. But since sleep is too strong, you continue dreaming.
