Sometimes I ponder on the Happenings in the world. The sufferings that we his children go through daily.Hunger, untimely dead, job loss, child's loss, rape and the rest. The most annoying ones are the natural disasters. We pray to him daily but we still encounter all sorts in life.
Can we still say God is a merciful Father with all the pains he allows us go through.

@augusta123 I really believe that if humans had not separated from God, we could hear Him telling us where to live (where there are no earthquakes or hurricanes) or to get out when we need to. But humans have never been good at hearing God's voice.

If He isn't, we will no longer be here. Things happen for a reason, the big picture will eventually present itself.

Well i am a hindu so we have bunch of gods. What i have realized is that god/gods are not like what we thought of them. Not that face or body or you know the shape or idols. But that being said there is a unseen power that works on all of us. It kind of controls the affairs of the world. Besr thing is just do what you gorta do and leave the rest on gods. They will take care of it. You know our holly book "Geeta" says that one should do his karmas and need not worry for its results. I never understood it before i mean how can you not worry about the outcone of your actions right? But the real deal is when you are working with that much dedication and belief you just never doubt the outcomes. You know the outcomes. Well the topic of god and all that debates can go on whole life. Simple thing is do your karma and leave the rest on them

Yes, God is merciful. We are all sinners but He wants us all to come to Him to be forgiven. I think the natural disasters are just the result of the earth's created system, and people are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Suffering caused by other humans, though, are a result of sin. God gives us free will and some people unfortunately use that to hurt others. He will come and judge, though. So stick with God.

God is definitely merciful.
One of my teachers told me once before that "Being forgiven does not mean one will not be punished"

No doubt about it. For ex: if you attend a important exam, you will sacrifice yourself like no mob,no tv,no games, maximum time for study. Then if you pass the exam, you will satisfy for your struggles.
That's like in this world,we are struggling..if God wills, we will go to PARADISE in our next life (unlimited )by our efforts. If we compare the next life with this life, this life will be a very few hours. This is a logic answer by the holy books. And satan tries to make us to doubt about God's mercy.

Yes. God is merciful. According to Genesis, saturn got the power to control earth after Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. So the world is full of suffering. My opinion though I can't blame anyone for the world's suffering. That's the way it is.

Then does this shows mercy.A merciful father can't be wicked at the same time. This is contradicting
