I know that rock painting and hiding them for others where you live to find is in right now was wondering if anyone on mylot does it? My friends girlfriend painted a bunch of them for our camping event last week it was called woods rock and that is what she put on them with the year. Me and my boyfriend each have one to remember the event by. I am thinking of finding some rocks and doing this. I would like to see how many here do it or have found some where you live

It is crazy to price something so high priced thinking youwill get what you are asking especially on a rock

The family that sell the charity ones are a suggested £1 donation!! Some of the ones painted by the adults are fantastic with paintings of boats and lighthouses. The kids ones are really cute as well!! I love the fact the whole family are involved in it as well!!

I belong to a rock painting group on Facebook but I haven't painted any rocks. A lot of my friends are doing it through. Some of them are really creative. People go out looking for the rocks. When they find them they post them on Facebook and then rehide them for other people to find. It is a big thing around here.

I haven't found any hidden but there's a family back home who paint rocks and sell them to tourists. They leave the rocks on their window sill with an honesty box for the cash and donate the money to the local lifeboat charity.

Here it is was a huge thing but has slowed down a lot now. I painted about 60 rocks but haven't done any new ones in over a month at least. I was to busy with my kids over the summer to take time to paint. There are over 7000 people on the Facebook group for tephe local rock group I am on. The furthest our rocks have traveled that I know of so far is from PA to Maryland to one of the beach boardwalks.

@Tina30219 Most do not show up on Facebook so we usually do not know what happens to them. It's very exciting when people do post a photo of where they found them. The smiling children holding their finds is adorable and makes it all worth it!

@shaggin I agree it would be cool to see where they go. I agree seeing the smiling faces of the children holding their finds would be so adorable.
