I weighed in just as promised at 5 AM at the YWCA this morning and got a wonderful surprise. Not only have I gone down a full size, but I lost 16 pounds. To celebrate I have baked potatoes in the oven, which will be ready soon, and I will be putting the T-Bone steak on the griddle as soon as I post this.
I also went to the store this morning to buy a fruit tray for the swimming group tomorrow. I told them I would have it in the lounge after swimming tomorrow. I have been so excited all day at the loss, and now you can see it too.
The picture on the left is the before picture, and the one on the right was taken just a few minutes ago by my friend.
So there you have it - I'm down 16 pounds and one full size. And the pants I'm wearing in that photo is a pair of dress pants that I bought a few years ago and didn't realize they weren't the standard elastic waistband as I was looking for pants with pockets. My surprise was they were button and zip, which I couldn't wear. Putting them on today, they fit perfect and will be too big by the time this next 30 days is complete.
I'm estimating that by Christmas I will be under 200 pounds and that will be huge. I'm also not posting this pic on Facebook as I want to surprise my sister and brother for Christmas with the weight loss.
How has your day been? Thanks for reading.
This is my first time merging photos.

Valerie, I love it. It is also a pleasant surprise to have a button and zip pant fit. I got that good last year, then I quit losing. Need to get back to it. A huge congratulations on this success.

@Tina30219 I'm hoping so too. I know they will be surprised and happy for me. It will be a great Christmas present to my family not just me. They are all after me to lose weight, but it has been almost impossible to do so.

@fishtiger58 It's a very easy diet. Yes, getting old has complications to it, especially where the memory is concerned

@just4him I keep meaning to go look at the diet and then forget. Getting old is troubling lol.

That was the first month. There's a second set that includes the one on the right. I'm continuing to lose and will be checking my weight again in two weeks. Thanks.
