Pull out those sweat pants! I woke to a lovely 46 degrees this morning, I am thinking what?! NO! not yet. The cold front pushed through yesterday and I could tell the difference while outside working. We are supposed to have a repeat of yesterday and last night, tonight and then get back to normal.
I am one of those people who dreads cold weather. ;Last year it was a blessing to me to have a mild Winter since I did not get to stay home much, Tony was Critical from November to March with the cancer and I was on the road or in a doctors office for most of that time.
Then Summer came and the bugs!!! So this year I hope I get a cold February, like usual to get rid of them.
Now this cold snap reminds me that I have to get those heaters in the rentals, maybe sooner than planned.
How cold was it this morning for you?

Something is headed your way! I hope it goes back out into the ocean instead of hitting land.

It's 8:30 AM and 83 here, probably hit 104 today so it's "cooling off". Tomorrow and Saturday will be under 100 but then back up to 107 on Sunday. I hate this place.
I know it gets cold in Alabama but it's hard to picture it. I think of it as lush and green with lots of flowers year round, for some reason! I hope this is a much better year fall and winter for you than last year!!

It is just about always lush and green, I have mowed grass every month of the year before except Feb. When I say cold we might have a couple weeks of 20`s and 30`s for nights.

I can start to feel the difference now that September is here. We are down to the low 70's in New Jersey. The mornings are much cooler. No more early mornings in shorts. One of the things I enjoy about summer so much, shorts and flip flops all the time. Oh well, until next year...

When the weather in Lake Charles gets cold, my backaches begin.

It wasn't very cold here this morning at all, although the temperature has dropped from the ungodly 110+ degrees we had last week. Now it is in the upper 80s/90s as is normal for this time of year. But next week it is supposed to creep up toward 100 again. Wish the weather would make up its mind. I'm over this heat!

Let me see I woke up and it was around 80 this morning on the islands. This is a typical morning here in Tahiti. During the morning it warmed up some, not a lot. All in all it was a very sunny, happy day for me. Got a lot done and I wasn't cold. These are the days I love so much.

@andriaperry This makes me laugh so hard. I wrote a post about the weather not so long ago. I explained it so well. After summer and fall comes everyone wishes summer was here again. After fall and winter people miss fall and want spring. Now spring is here they miss winter. One summer comes it is way too hot and they now miss spring. I am so happy we only have 2 seasons. One wet and one dry. Dry is our cooler months and wet is our hotter months.
