Another long day

Not as grumpy tonight, it was still a long day with school thou. I just don't see a way around it right now. I'm trying to make her more responsible for some of the work. Like last year I read a lot of the stuff to her. I'm making her do lots more of it this year, which of course takes way longer. Other then more practice and doing it this way I don't know how to make her improve her reading speed. Comprehension is awesome, just the time it takes her is awful. Anyways how was your day?

I accomplished a lot. I worked around this place. Maybe reward her for being faster? I dont know

That is good, I did tonight some after doing wood at my moms. Now taking a break. I reward her for trying. I think it is just harder for some then others and she doesn't like reading really. Ohh well guess it will come with time or I hope it will!

That is how I feel, unfortunately schools want or think all children progress at the same time and don't seem to get it.
