As I already mentioned, i spent 10 months participating in a voluntary project at kindergarten in Vienna. I never enjoyed autumn before, but that September I felt some spirit of silence of Nature before turning into the next condition. I couldn't walk through the carpet of leaves imagining myself a liner floating on the waves, like I used to do in Russia, because all the yellow-brown leaves had been removed from the pathways by street janitors. They had some special equipment that blew away all the leafage to the waysides. Anyway, I felt myself being Pushkin and one day I wrote these lines while sitting in a public transport on my way to the kindergarten: I grow in Vienna, I'm a tree. I have a number- Sixty three. I have my friends Not far from me. September ends As you can see. I drop my leaves With no regret. Slight blowing weaves Gold random net. So lies my dress Moveless apart No dissapointment, grief or stress I want for my next springtime start. Leave human fails As i have done. Inhale, exhale. New life's begun! The pic is from one of the park in Vienna where i used to walk with kids

Beautiful photo, it reminds me so much my native city in Italy (Milan), that back in time was part of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire. Congratulations for the poem, is very nice.

That is a lovely park. And your poem describes the changes of autumn so beautifully. We're supposed to be experiencing spring now, but the weather is crazy.
