Back to School for Parents

Each year, our school hosts a Back to School Day to inform parents of what their children do in each class, what is expected of them, and to meet with us. Since we have elementary, middle and high school in the same buildings, we have a schedule that is a little awkward. High school has regular classes 8:30-12:00. Middle school comes at 12:00 and goes till 3:30. Elementary comes at 8:30 and quits at 2:00. Parents come and have a large group meeting with the teachers during the time the students are not in school that day, so we have to make sure the elementary students are taken care of while we talk to the parents. Usually we show them a movie. It's a little awkward for us, so I hope it is helpful to all the parents who come to hear about their students' day at school.
