Out of veggies

I started the week trying to make different colorful combinations of vegetables to be healthy. It was very nice, but as usual on Thursday night I just used up my last fresh veggies to make my lunch to take to work tomorrow. I have frozen veggies so they will have to do until Saturday. Fortunately for the color in my lunch I have both oranges and nashi (Japanese pears.) So my lunch is colorful after all. One green, one orange, one white, and yellow sweet potatoes.
What do you run out of at the end of the week? For me it's always vegetables!

Milk, sometimes bread and of course snacks! Guess the snacks are a good thing to run out of since healthy they are not.

@petatonicsca I eat a lot of whole grain cereal most days for breakfast and also use it in my tea.

Me, maybe chips lol, my mom buys chips for the family that expects to last a week but I always end up finishing it lol. I think the things I will start finishing in a week is fruits and vegetable since I have stopped eating junk and all that stuff for 3 month only though lol

Yes, it's better to eat fruits and veggies than chips ![](/Content/images/emotes/thumbup.gif)

I always run out of fruits and veggies as they don't last long. Sometimes they do but some weeks that's all I eat. I will be going to the store tomorrow and stocking up again so I can start bringing my lunches to work again.

I guess I rarely run out of veggies---more like milk, bread and cheese--but I have so many veggies---growing and bought--that it is always a game to use them all

I tried growing veggies in a container garden, but there are fields around me that use pesticides and I don't, so bugs all come over and eat my veggies.

I envy you.. you have veggies every day. I rarely get the chance to prepare home-cooked meals. It's always fast food take-outs or deliveries. I wish I would have the time to go to the grocery and buy ingredients for a nice home-cooked meal. Problem is, I don't have that much idea on what to prepare. Most cooking show I watch have requirements that either I don't have or won't be able to procure. Sigh, I guess I'll just stick to buying food outside.

Anything I cook happens in 15 minutes or less, in a frying pan. I can't eat prepared items because of food allergies. I wish I could buy fast food sometimes!

Are the nashi/Japanese pears the ones that I can buy over here that are yellow and apple-shaped?

There are a lot of different variations but basically yes, yellow or light green and apple-shaped.
