Panda Basi's life was like a legend. She died yesterday at the age of 37 and it is about 100 years old for human beings. She fell into the icy cold river when she looked for the food when she was little. Fortunately she was rescued and then she was settled down in the zoo. She visited USA in 1987 for half a year. Many people went to see her and they had to wait for 5 hours but could only see her for 3 minutes. The mascot of the Asian Games in 1990 came from Panda Basi. Tonight I watched this news from TV. The nurse who took care of Panda Basi cried when he was interviewed.

I know pandas are among the endangered species. That would be so sad for the caretakers.
