A battery could last a year or a day - 'turning them off' doesn't do anything to save it. I have not worn a watch in probably 30 years.

I have no idea about batteries on watches. But I love your watches especially one at the center.

I do have no idea, but seems to make sense to me. You mean you take the batteries out of the watch? I guess could be like a car battery also. I had a car battery where the prongs or connector things decayed making the battery leak acid ruining the battery. My old boss told me when I buy a new one get a wire brush and clean off the prong things to keep them clean and they will not decay as fast. Maybe watch batteries are the same.

It's still good if you let them work. Some elements inside your watches might stock up because they are stored for sometimes.

Nice watches Fredo
Yes it will prolong the life if you take the batteries out, but the battery itself can wear out even if it is not in the watch anyway.

I really don't know much about watch batteries but it seems reasonable that they will last longer if unplugged.
Sunny morning here today which always makes me smile

Stupid question here - How do you unplug a battery from a watch? I don't think it would make a difference.

I pull out the stoppers on watches I don't wear often. It helps, but like any battery, they all lose their charge after a while. I love the mechanism in one of my watches. It doesn't need a battery, but must be worn or placed in a watch winder box to keep the correct time.

I have no idea. I haven't owned a watch in years. I lost it playing golf.
