Yahoo mail does not exist

Do you experienced such message when you logged into your Yahoo email account? Honestly speaking, I have 5 different email addresses at Yahoo which I had created for different purposes. Only two of them are activated , had been using all these years while the remainder 3 were left stagnant since they are used for unimportant emails, mostly junk emails which I don't open them. Yesterday when I tried to log into these 3 stagnant email accounts, the message promptly read, Yahoo mail does not exist. Then I further investigated , realized that emails that are left dormant for more than 2 years are automatically closed without further notice. No wonder my Yahoo email s are gone!

I don't have a yahoo email anymore from the time I shifted to hotmail. I had several problems with yahoo so many years ago, it couldn't even receive a mail from Naver nor could it send one that I had to shift to hotmail. Never used yahoo ever since.

Yahoo is one of the mailing services that still allow recycling of email address. Thus, if you no longer using your email, theyll close it so the email string would be available to others. AFAIK they wait at least 90days of inactivity before they do that.

@peachpurple you're welcome. Switch to gmail. They dont recycle emails. Who wants to use an email that has been used by someone before?

I have Yahoo mail as well. I open it from time to time because I don't want the address to be deactivated.
