My 5-year-old grandson, Jaypee, was all dressed up going to school for the first time last Monday. He is enrolled in Kindergarten. He was so excited and even asked me to take a picture of him sporting his new blue school uniform. As I promised I bought him 3 school uniforms including 3 pairs of black pants. His grandma bought his back pack.
According to his mom while he and his new classmates were falling in line prior to getting inside their classroom, he told his mom and dad to go home in contrast to what his older brother did 5 years ago. He was crying and did not want to be left behind.
I asked him today how was his day in school. "Good", he replied. I asked him what's new he learned today. "Nothing!", he said. LOL

My kids learn "nothing" in school every day too . Oh, isn't Jaypee so cute? It's interesting how different kids react to going to school . . . my kids were never clingy and they went off on their merry way to the classroom that they sometimes forgot to say by to mom . Hope he has a great school year!!

@Lizrazo I thank the Heavens for not making him looked like my Grandpa. . . My late grandpa looked like Stephen Colbert!

@Lizirazo Thank Heavens I don't look like Tom Cruise . . . Otherwise, I would have so many wives.

@LovingMyBabies That is true . . Jaypee loves to talk while his older brother is a quiet kid . . but loves to draw. Jaypee may grow up to become a politician or insurance salesman; while his brother may grow up to be a sign language interpreter for politicians while they are delivering campaign speeches .

LOL Boys will be boys, there's no need for any details, like with our little girls! Jaypee is so sweet, that's a darling picture, Grandma took!

@antonbunot My son started school at the age of 2 and he wanted to be left alone. HIs yaya would just tell him where his milk was and he was fine with that. He didn't want any of us to be around him when he was in school. He loved school so much it was hard to let him stay away from it even though he was sick.

@toniganzon Holy smoke! I guess he started talking early like my 11-year-old grandson (son of our second son). He started talking when he was 11-month old.. . . and his first word was banana , , the accent was on the first syllable.. Thank Heavens he is not gay!

@TiarasOceanView . . LOL . . . Maybe he was thinking of learning how to read and write. I think their teacher is not teaching them yet. So he said nothing.

@LadyDuck I guess so. He already knows how to count from one to 20. I taught him. He also knows a couple of arithmetic - - one plus one equals 2 and 2 plus 2 equals 4 . . . He also knows the name of our prime minister - Justin Trudeau.

Such a cutie. Typical responses from kids and they don't change much as they get older.
