I am both Arab and Amazigh (natives of North Africa), but I Have an Arabic name “Naceur". It is derived from the Arabic name “Nasr" which means victory. My name simply means “supporter", "Helper". My grandfather gave it to me. His grandfather carried the same name "Naceur".

I learned this a long time ago, my name comes from the male name of Felix and the female name and word Felicity and thus made a feminine name, Felicia. Which means light and happiness! I was given it because my dad had a crush on a female soap opera star...not that great of a story but at least it fits me well!

@belmeros I was a hairdresser on cruise ships and I was on a 3 month trip. We spent time in Casablanca and Tangiers. I loved both places especially shopping in all those small shops. I bought a beautiful long robe that I had for years.

I finally just checked what my first name means and this is what I found. I just put search and found this out.
It is pronounced Nan-cee. It is of Hebrew origin, (this was very interesting as I am German and Irish and the meaning of Nancy is
"He (God) has favored me".
I thought this was interesting as I never looked it up before.
