Feeling frigtened being alone

I've told you in my previous postings that I am away from my family. I am living alone and that could be a lot of fun in fact. However, I am here working my head off for my family.
Reflection of the bad experience I had when I studied in another city sometimes comes into my mind. At the time I was living alone and still single, I felt (during the last semester) as if the earth was moving. Later I had a head-splitting headache as if something was cutting my head. I went to a docter to get it checked. The doctor said nothing wrong with my head. I came back home and felt the same again. The next day I came back to the doctor and he said the same -- nothing wrong with my head.
Since the doctor gave no solution, I stopped having consultations with him and I grew more frightened and couldn't sleep at night. This went on for months until I decided to ask my parents to see me.

I know a special doctor will take care of it but it costs a lot to make consultation with him/her.

@Shavkat There is a book (I used to read it a lot) that can increase our confidence.

@yanzalong Luckily, I don't need to have a special consultation for it. I can able to adjust to changes.

Psychological, probably. Did you ever try to seek second opinion? Sometimes it's best to seek a second opinion especially when you are not satisfied with their diagnosis.
Was that doctor a specialist or a general doctor?

General. I came to an ophthalmologist just in case it had something to do with my eyes. He said it was oke with my eyes. This was a long time ago, Toni. When my parents arrived, the pain was gone completely.

@yanzalong Next time it happens to you, you should go to a specialist and not a general doctor because they won't be able to give you the right answer. Your pain was specific, it was a headache.

No. Impossible. I work there but do not take my family to live with me. The kids still go to school.

Oh, wow. That sounds like stress headaches. I am so sorry. Is it possible for you to talk to a mentor or a counselor? That's a lot of pressure, and understandably, stressful. Have you ever tried writing in a journal every day? Sometimes it helps a little bit to get our feelings out on paper.
