Watching terrible news.

I was invited to a birthday party today and we were having fun when one of the guests saw in his cell phone about the big earthquake in Mexico. Now, with the new technology, we can see immediately how buildings went down and hear how people are found dead. The quake was 7.1 Richter and it is in the same date of the deadly earthquake in 1985.
The news changed and showed the hurricane Maria and its deadly path across the Caribbean sea and the problems that Puerto Rico will have when it hits it.
I can only cry!

We certainly are having the most strong and frequent natural disasters this year... Makes me worry what things will be like in the next 20 years if things continue to get worse.

@JustBhem It happens in such cases. It is a nature made act of extreme violence.

It is very sad and very scary. But, it is good that we are able to learn about such tragedies so soon, it lets other act fast and help those in need.

Unfortunately, earthquakes destroy in seconds and in seconds buildings crumble as the Twin Tower collapsed some years ago.

@marguicha I understand how earthquakes work, I meant like people who are trapped or places in risk of collapsing.

I tried not to panic about it. We had experience shakes a couple of months ago. I agree with @JustBhem that we just pray and pray..
