Did Nicole Kidman forget about her adopted children?

I asked this question as I watched the Emmy's the other night. Nicole Kidman in her acceptance speech gave a shout out to her 2 girls and her husband but neglected to mention her two older adopted children. She won an Emmy for her role in HBO's Big Little Lies. She said that she has two little girls and mentioned them by name.
Some say that neglecting to mention her two adopted children has something to do with Scientology - the religion of her former husband Tom Cruise. However, that should not cause a mother to discount her children. Perhaps she just forgot she and Tom Cruise adopted two children before she had her natural born children.

@Freelanzer No you don't. She will regret that some day.

I feel the same way. Your kids are always your kids. You don't say I have two children when you have four.

I read somewhere that the kids don't have much contact with her and I believe it was due to Scientology. Still, I think it's a sad situation because she was close to them when they were younger.

Last year in an interview she said all was well with her and them, perhaps things have changed.

Oh is that so. But your children are your children no matter what.

The children are always caught in the middle especially when their parents are divorced.
