With Your Magic Wand, Where Would You Love to Travel To?

Amber Sunset in Japan

My son is now travelling in Japan with his friend and he just loves it. It's a second trip for him as he was an English teacher there with a program that arranges for university students to teach abroad. He has sent photos and is presently in beautiful Kyoto. I would really like to travel magically there and meet with him for a few days as Japan is a place I really want to visit and is on my bucket list. I also would really enjoy anywhere near an ocean- and would love a trip to Hawaii or Spain. Any Caribbean Island would do too but unfortunately I'd have to wave my wand to restore most of them to their former glory now- after this run of hurricanes. Europe is also high on my list of places I want to visit. I just can't find my magic wand right now but will certainly put it to good use when I do find it! Of course, with a magic wand I'd be sure my entourage of maid, hairdresser and massage therapist would also have to come with me. LOL! Oops, forgot my husband- such a shame- I'll have to bring him next time. Ha!

@Marymargll - I have been to Europe, Hawaii and the Caribbean. I would love to go to New Zealand and Australia. Perhaps I'd get to see @JudyEv there! If I ever go back to Europe, there are people there I would love to see, too, including @LadyDuck and @JaboUK. Maybe we could have a MyLot world reunion someday!

I have already visited the Caribbeans, I was lucky because now very little remain of what was a Paradise. I would love to see Japan, also some places in China.

@LadyDuck Yes as my son says- it is beautiful and very safe. From his descriptions- it has its own kind of exotic feel and very good cuisine if you love Japanese food- and I do! I'll have to work harder at myLot so I can go---LOL!

How wonderful! I am Japanese, and have never even stepped foot there . . . I'd like to go there one day too! I have a couple friends whose spouses have taught English in Japan too. A magic traveling wand would be amazing . . . it'd take us there quickly and hopefully we could skip the airfares . We haven't traveled very far, so seriously we would go anywhere that it'd take us. Europe and Asia would be high on the list, but hopping around continents, countries, cities would be fine . . . we'd exhaust the wand .

That would be all right if he would allow you to leave him behind in loo of the maid, hairdresser, and massage therapist. There are a few places I would love to visit if I could find my magic want. I would visit Alaska first. That has been at the top of my bucket list for a very long time. Then I would go down under. I would love to visit Australia and New Zealand. There are other places I would love to go, but those are at the top of my list.

Seems like Japan is the winner this post- It is exotic yet somehow so appealing isn't it. And a magic wand makes it so easy to travel to! LOL!

Your places are very worthy! I think I would go to Santa Fe first to see my son. Then I would travel to Ireland and England, two places I would love to spend time in. If you find some wands, make sure to distribute them on myLot!

I know- I did think of the danger- but would use my magic wand to deflect any missiles---ha! But seriously am a little worried re: my son. Although he said he's in the south part which is less likely to see missiles. What a world we are in right now!

To simplify things a bit, I've been to Asia 3 times, South America twice, Africa, and Europe at least 12 times, many of the Caribbean islands, and Hawaii twice. My dream is to visit Antarctica and India.. I'd also like to visit Japan.

@MarymargII We had planned on either India or Japan after the wedding, but with what is going on in the world, we decided to wait until next year. Kyoto is on my list! You really should try to go while your son is there. He can be your guide.

@DianneN It's true- it would be great as he can even speak some of the language- however, a little worried about the situation with Korea and worry a little for him being there.

If I could wave a magic wand, I would want to go to Australia. Not to the touristy beach places, or Sydney, or the Great Barrier Reef, or places like that, but to explore the inner parts of the country, or what they call the Outback. I would love to just strap on a backpack and spend months just hiking around the giant continent.
