Isn't that the dream most people have? Well I just dreamt that I actually took the plunge and did it. I handed in my notice in at work with the intention of setting up on my own! It must be such a thrill But then also really nerve racking to do this. Would you ever consider doing it?

@YesWay Yup, creating your business is one of the most good thing to do, but maintaining the business is one of the hardest part..

Already done it twice! Unfortunately both failed due to recession but I don't regret trying. Currently working part time on my new business in the hope that I can quit my full time job soon and work full time doing what I want to do!

I did it before but my experience was not interesting. I would advise anyone considering the same to have a proper plan and have passion in what they plan to do.

It has also been my dream to start my own business, but i don't know what type of business i'm' going to take. Maybe a grocery store or an RTW business but i don't have a place for the business yet.

I think people take a big risk of the business failing so they need to be very careful when planning to start their own business.

That would be ideal for some but not for me. I would most likely keep my job and work on my own business at the same time.

I dreamed of it for years but never did it. I would have had to build the business up somewhat first so I could pay my bills then I could quit. It is a wonderful dream though.

Yes, I would but I can't because I can't live in one country. So, I just have a part time job that allows me to leave for a few months to live in my home country.
