I actually got up early enough to catch preaching this morning, after the crazy sleep patterned I had created I was exhausted last night.
Have you ever watched something or attended a meeting/ church and felt that the subject/sermon hit home with you?
Today this happened. I watch Joel Osteen and he preached on how God wants us to rest our bodies and minds. He talk about the angel that came to Eli after he ran 24 hours from Jezabel, while he slept the angel woke him to eat bread and drink water, not once but twice. Also in the Lords Prayer David saying the lord make me lay down in green pastures.
This sermon made me realize how much and how hard I have been working the past couple of years and not taking enough time to have fun for me, to rest just for me, not just because I am exhausted . I think when I make my new schedule I will pencil in a day of fun.
How about you, ever had someone talk and it hits home with you?

Yes I have experienced this many times Andria.
A good preacher does that a lot.
Glad you got time today to listen.

I believe in rest and having fun. I think that is why I have gone fishing for a couple of nights in a roll. It is both relaxing and a lot of fun. I enjoy the quiet of the beach and hearing the fish jump in the water. It is a great way to relax after a day of work and so much happening.

@andriaperry I guess I would think twice about night fishing if there were a lot of snakes around. Lucky for me there isn't any snakes on our islands.

The last time I went to church, I nodded off in the middle of the sermon.

I think it's important to rest and take time for yourself. I know if I push myself too hard my symptoms flare up so I try not to push myself too hard anymore, which sometimes makes me feel guilty.
I have had things hit close to home before, or read a certain article right when I needed to receive the message. I'm not religious but I think people receive messages from a higher power (in whatever form they believe) in their own way. Even if it's just a message they relate to from their fellow man. But that's just my opinion.

That has happened a few times. Right now I am too sad to think about having fun but I might consider how I can have a day just to do something I really like to do.
