So it's almost one week now since the rains started here in our place (Cebu, Philippines). Heavy rains that brought heavy flash floods and possible landslides because of the Low Pressure Area (LPA)
PAG-ASA or Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration issues LPA YELLOW WARNING LEVEL and with the help of NDRRMC or National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council they sent out announcement through texts

So far, we have not experienced floods over here. Our place is far from being flooded because of the drainage upgrading in some areas. Although there are still some parts like Basak and Marigondon which have still problems when heavy downfalls came.

We're already prepared since Yolanda or Typhoon Haiyan struck here and we're also near the eye that day.

I doubt most of the storms nowadays are man-made. Yes, Japan recently hit by an earthquake.

Stay safe kabayan. Always be ready. And be updated in the news. For how long will it last?
