Old Kitchen Utensils. Do You Have Any of These?

I have some of these old kitchen utensils I got from my Nana. I am 66 so you can imagine their age. I can't part with the ones I do have. They hold memories of things I made with my Nana, then with my kids and now my grands. Generations of good times. Open your utensil drawer and see if you have any of these. I don't have all of them, but the few that I do have I will hand down.

I think my parents had everything except the melon scooper. I used those tongs for I don't know how long into my adulthood...learned to cook with them, so why not?!

@Ganma7 Hah, I have even older ones! I've got things made of wood: a spoon for stirring soup, a meat tenderiser, an agitator (if that is the correct word).

@heyheyla That's a very funny answer! What is there 'to learn'? You see how such tools are used when you watch someone cooking and if you aren't completely daft, you know what to do with them.

Oh that's special. I'm happy the utensils mean so much to you. I have an egg slicer, measuring spoons, pastry blade and ice cream scoop - though mine are new, save for the pastry blade

Wow that is so sweet of you keeping those lovely kitchen utensils from your nana. I am sure that your grandkids loves to hear stories about those. Like how you use them before and how you keep it and if their parents also used or played with it. Do they ask you to tell stories?
