I think this is very comman. I think it happens to alot of people since you put effort into eating good food together and cosy up wtih snacks and stuff in the sofa infront of the tv.. Think it´s more common than rare

i guess it's being married that's fattening, LOL! my husband is gaining weight coz he's having his regular meals now (i'm cooking), and we're enjoying eating anything together. the sleeping late should offset it but it doesn't. i wonder why, hehe.

That is an interesting question and I guess it could be true in some cases. Glad to hear that you both eat well and are happy. I may end up being the same way if things work out with me and my date. :-) I am sure it probably happens to many other people as well.

That is so true. It seems like you just become so comfortable with one another that there's no more trying to impress each other or anything. You simply do things you love and enjoy one another's company. It's a level of trust and comfort.

I seriously don't know and i have never notice it happening this way. Something i know for sure is that contentment more than often makes one fat. I mean if one is contented with everything around him/her, that leads to a healthy thought which can lead to fattening. A healthy though takes stress out of one's life and makes one feel on top of the world. hahahahaha. Please don't get too fat. he may later change his mind and tell you that you are too fat for him.

I am married for 30 years, and am still thin and my hubby is still fat. I don't know if it happens to everyone, but it certainly does happen alot. Maybe it is contentment.

That is a base instinct i.e you have met a mate and your subconcious is telling both of you to eat well so you can be more fertile and improve your chances or rearing offspring.
Sorry to put it in such animalistic terms but thats what it is...Animal instinct.

Err, NO! When I am in love, I lose weight. Can't tell why but maybe because I think about the person too much that I can get by without eating and sleeping. It may not be the case with everyone especially those who gain pounds when they're in love. Like I know some guy friends who gain so much weight when in a relationship. In fact, most married men can't even wear their old pants after some months of being married. It's a case to case basis thing, perhaps. *wink*
