Being Friends with our Ex partner

I think it not appropriate to still be friends with an Ex-partner.I think an EX should be in the past and all forms of communication severed.But I see some people still interact with an Ex as if they' re still together.I think this kind of behavior can rekindle some level of affection especially if one of them as moved on to another relationship.
Would you keep calm if you find out that your partner still communicates with his or her Ex?

Your Ex can't be your enemy because what makes him or her to live you might be circumstances beyond his or her control. Not your fault nor his but nature or situations separated you. Communication between your Ex shoul be reduced to the bearest minimum either via social media or phone but as to physical communication It shouldn't be tolerated because for sure such relationship will rekindle to secret affair, no doubt about that.

To be honest, I would be VERY upset if I found my boyfriend still keep in touch with ex.
But all we do is, just ask our partner to talk to us honestly and ask him/her as our favour not to talk with their partners anymore.
And, tell his/her ex partner to STOP communicating with our partner.
Seriously, i hate that situation. Hopefully it wont happen to me :D *finger crossed

I would never communicate with my ex ,and will not allow my partner to communicate with his ex. Past is past.Once you leave that person , its not right to keep in touch with them .You must lead your life and let them also lead their life..
