Considering the exchange rate it is possible for me to buy groceries for a month.

That might get enough groceries for a week but I would lose some weight if that was the case.

Not here in Australia .. we need at least $1,500 for living expenses.. that does not include the water and electricity bills and other expenses..
In the Philippines, I think my husband and I will survive with $500 a month ..

wow, you earn a lot more than me, I earn USD$ 30, roughly $100 USD, I don't use my earnings, I keep them. My hubby pays all the bills and grocery. RM 200 is sufficient to pay for 2 weeks of grocery only
