Have you been scam before?

Way back in 2012, I became a victim of an investment scam known as Aman investment in Pagadian City. At first I was hesitant to join since I wasn't sure if it was legitimate. But since my office mate showed us his status and his widrawals from that company and even bought new car because of it. We were persuaded. I started 10,000.00 Pesos as my first investment from my bonus. Two weeks later my office mate said that I can already make a widrawal since it had an increase of 12% already. But I did not make any widrawals and decided to roll it together w/ the interest?. A month later from my 1st investment, my officemate persuaded me to loan from our insurance and invest to Aman. So I made a 50,000.00 loan while they loan a 150,000 Pesos. I invest my 40,000.00Pesos in Aman while they invest all their loans. My other co-worker even widraws all his saving from this saving company that worth a million already and invest it to Aman. 99% of the employee in our office invested in Aman and the lowest investment is 10,000 Pesos and the highest is a million Peso. A week later after that investment, boom! It was announced in the news that Aman was a scam and took all our money with him in Malaysia. After that news, we all feel deflated and as if we work in a fragile environment that speaking even one word of Aman or investment breaks it. When my family back home asked me if I invested/victimised in Aman. I say yes but only 10,000.00 Pesos so they won't get worried. My parents tends to be a worrywart sometimes. Which is good actually, it only shows that they care. The good news is no one blame anyone except our own self for being too silly and too greedy. Now we talked about it and makes a joke about it if who has the biggest investment. And charged it as experienced that should never happen again. How about you, have you been scam with huge money involved before?

Well, I am so lucky that I haven't experience being scammed, however there was a time that I was almost scammed when there a post in a buy and sell page on facebook for a very cheap iPhone, but when I ask the IMEI no. of the phone, the seller sent a wrong IMEI, so I started to doubt the post and fortunately, I realized that it was too good to be to true. I almost believed the seller because she was very professional and it seems that her fb is legit.

@iriswest A Thousand Peso. Peso is our currency in the Philippines. I need to edit the post tomorrow so as not to confuse. Its because I don't know how to put a peso sign before the number. I just have to put Peso word in it.

@ It is not a network marketing. It's an investment company, they had office and had complete business permit, so who would have thought i'ts a scam. Even the Mayor was charge for being conspirator, since he gave the company license to operate. But I'm glad that you haven't experience it.

O, yeah! One of my ex-girlfriends scammed me. She borrowed money from me 25 years ago . . and never paid it back. Just $500 though. But every time I ran out of money in my wallet these days, I remember her. I pity her she has 12 children and her husband left her, I am so thankful for not marrying her. We may have more than a dozen kids.

You are fooled easily! If I am in your shoes, you should have invested the minimum amount needed to be invested and see to it if it accumulates then afterreaching the minimum payout of that site or whatever, you should have withdraw your capital along with your profit. I do that strategy back then when I invisted my bitcoin to a bitcoin mining site. And I did profit from there many times but I invested only the minimum and once payout is reached, I withdraw my money and invest again.

@mildredtabitha It is not an online scam. They had a complete business permit had an office like a real bank. When you invest there, you see queue of people who wants to invest, so who would have thought it was a scam. They are so talented. But I learned my lesson now.
