Yesterday my managers told me about timing of my office shift will be night shifts for some time.
Its been long time since I have been into routine shifts of 9 to 6.
and suddenly 7 PM to 4 AM.
Let me see how good I am onto this.
Anyone faced similiar situation, or any views?

4am is an awkward time for me to go home. i would rather wait in the office until it's 6am when it's no longer dark and there are more people and public transportation available.

well, for some careers, shifts happened in regular. My cousin is a nurse, and she changes shifts in regular.

Teachers don't have night shifts. The latest I work is on concert nights until about 10:00.

The new hours might take a bit of getting used to. Some people find it hard to sleep during the day.
