Sleep less, live more!

It is almost midnight here but I'm fully awake. I'm not yet sleepy. Let me share to you about a guy I met online from a social media site. We are from different countries. Our time is 2 hrs. advance compared to his location. Somehow he said to me that sleeping is a waste of time. Instead of closing his eyes and journey into dreamland, he would rather spend it by listening to music or doing some other 'worthwhile activities'. Yes we are opposite because I used to sleep a lot but now I believe he got some point. We have a little time left so why not make the most out of it.

As I get older, I find that I'm fine with less sleep... I usually have 5-6 hours of sleep.

It usually depends on you. As long as your comfortable with it, then go for it. :)

That is true. I'm going to be 52 in December and I too find that as I grow older, I need less sleep but I also get tired very fast especially when the weather makes me lethargic.

One cannot discount the importance of sleep. Our body needs to rest especially if we've been using it physically. Without rest, our body cannot heal itself properly. Your friend should look up researches on sleep deprivations and learn what lack of sleep can do to the mind and body.

I do better with quality time if I get plenty of sleep. Otherwise, I'm just tired and don't enjoy the day.

It is in the mindset. Some people do well even if they sleep less.
