I lost my Mum in March, and I think even now I am still in shock. IWe never like to think about losing our parents, but we know that we will eventually. My Mum was 68 when she died. She had a stroke in Feb and spent 3 weeks in hospital, We had a hospital bed brought to my parents house for her to come home to recover. The stroke had caused her to lose her speech and lose all feeling on her right hand side. It was heartbreaking when she had the stroke, but even more heartbreaking when she passed. I dont think I will ever get it out of my head her final day, when I held her hand as she took her final breath. I cant stop hurting. I know that in time things will get easier, and they have, but I miss her, everything has changed, everyone has changed, life is hard. How do you cope with losing a loved one?

Belated condolences! My mom lived to be 91 and my dad 100 and knowing they were safe in God's hands helped me a lot.

I am sorry. I lost my grandparents at too young of an age to remember so I have too little experience to help, but I wish you all the love.

Sorry for your loss. It takes time after a loss. But you never actually get over it.

The pain doesn't really ever go away you just learn how to live with it.

I lost both my mom and dad and it is never easier. You learn to get through each day but there is an ache in your heart that never goes away. I am so sorry for your loss. I know how difficult it is.

You have to survive somehow. I lost a beloved sister last summer 2016 - and the pain is still there.
