I wish I could share this rain with northern California

We are having some major downpours here this morning. I am not complaining about the rain though, after our own hot, dry, smoky and fiery summer.
I would love to push some of these clouds just a long day's drive south to California's beautiful wine country around Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino counties. The death toll is now at 17 and will almost certainly grow.
So many people are going to be homeless the economy will suffer so much after these fires.
High winds are predicted again later today in that area. I am so sorry for people living there who never expected something like this.

The rain would be a miracle for Northern California. The trickle down economy will be damaged for a long time. Tourism will surely suffer.

I know. We've had the remnants of three hurricanes (Irma, Maria, Nate) come through Kentucky. I sure wish those devastated regions in California could have the rain from one....

It would be nice if we could push the clouds and have it rain where it is needed.

@vandana7 Lots of our fires are started by accident, a few on purpose (arson).

It's all making me so sad. I wish I could send our rain that way too.

@JamesHxstatic We also need rain, it's since the beginning of October that it's too warm and no rain, we start to feel the pollution in the air.

Yes, rain would be so good instead of wind.

Too bad they didn't get the snow we got a couple days ago. They could use it.

It would help a lot if the wind would die down.

ok James. Winter is the only time we should get rain. Our summers are hot. I believe we have not gotten as much as we need but have not heard if yes or no. We have had nice days when it usually is cold.

I wish I could send all of the rain we recently got here out there too. Fires, Hurricanes, shootings, not to mention political unrest.... it's odd times we live in
