Secret hiding spaces

Do you keep saved money in your home or do you just keep all your money in the bank? I like to keep a little bit of money at home just so I have it in case of an emergency, but then I get so paranoid about it being found if someone breaks into my home! So I end up hiding it in stupid places like an old sock and a coffee jar!!

I also keep some money at home and I do the same, I hide the money in stupid places, like inside my shoes.

@YesWay It is a good place because I forgot I had money in a boot years ago and I discovered the money when I wore the boots and I found they were uncomfortable.

I don't use those bank cards, they just plain scare me, I have heard to many horror stories about thief's getting the number and stealing. I use cash and personal checks, and I have never been robbed.

@YesWay when they first came up with the idea of a debit card connected to you bank account I suppose it was a good idea, however the crooks are always two steps ahead, and it's really a bad idea.

I try saving like putting some extra coins in a piggy bank but it's no use. Brothers like to steal them. But I have a bank account for my savings though,

Yes, I have some places I hide money. I have an old piggy bank with the combo lock I got when I was maybe 12 years old. I'll put money in that and place it in a special place. Guess I like to keep useful things a while
