Morning Blessing

This morning began the ladies fellowship program through the church. We meet once a month from October to May. It's a time for food and fellowship. It's a time for refreshing in the spirit and soul, something women need, to rejuvenate their lives and feel alive again, away from the stress and strain of daily life and the demands created from it.
There was a lot of delicious food. The host made some really delicious looking tortilla roll-ups. Notice I said looked delicious. I didn't have any, or most of anything that people brought. I stuck to my diet, though everything was tempting. There was a little bit I could eat, including something I make myself, a blend of zucchini, tomato, and onion. It was very good.
After the food came the fellowship, which was a total blessing. When the fellowship was over, I found myself volunteering to teach a couple ladies the Bible. I'm very excited about doing this. It's been on my heart to teach the Bible for many years. Now, I will have the opportunity, to do just that. Two women were readily interested, so in the next month, I will be starting a home Bible Study with ladies from my church.
It was such a blessing this morning, and I'm looking forward to what's next. I'm hosting it in December, and I just started working on the lesson for it. In the mean time, I also need to get a study plan together on teaching the Bible. I am very excited in what God is doing next in my life.
How were you blessed today? Thanks for reading.

This seems like nothing, in comparison to this blessing in your day! My blood pressure was down to 126/63 instead of 230/120, which the RN recorded at the hospital. God has done a beautiful thing, helped the doctors get to the bottom of these serious health issues!

@just4him Yes, my doctor switch the blood pressure medication, to lisinopril. It's working beautifully! Thank you, for your prayers, Valerie:)

I'm curious to know what your first lesson will be?
There is a publication that a person can download from the JW.ORG website entitled "What Can We Learn From The Bible?" that is designed as a Bible study aid.
It helps the reader find Scriptural answers for many common questions that people have about God and Jesus and what the Bible really teaches.
I found this publication to be very helpful when I have conducted Bible studies with other persons. It can give you the Bible's answer to specific questions. You can use it as a GUIDE with your own Bible.
Here's the link:
This Bible study tool can help you to understand the Bible, so that you can be truly happy now and enjoy a wonderful hope for the future.

@just4him I know you are NOT a Jehovah's Witness but this book is for people of all faiths who want to learn more about the Bible. Jehovah's Witnesses already know what the Bible teaches, so this book is ACTUALLY for anyone who is NOT one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
However, I understand how you may feel about it. It was just a suggestion because it is a GUIDE to understanding the Bible.

@IreneVincent Thank you. I only use the Bible when I do any kind of teaching.

There were muffins, homemade scones, cinnamon buns, and a host of other things on the table. In the kitchen were some kind of tortilla roll-ups with chicken and one other meat, plus the stuff to go on them - diced tomatoes, onions, lettuce, avocado, a rice dish, and the zucchini dish that I could have. Yes, it all looked delicious.

I am glad that you have some ladies interested in a home bible study with you. You do seem to have a calling. From your posts I have seen your joy in spreading the word of the Lord.
