Do you like to tell someone about your age?

During the fun, last night one of my friends asked us about our age. Each one of us answered but one friend did not. She was silent. We teased her by guessing the right age still she didn't want to. She kept her silent.
I'm 34 and no one believes me because of the way I look and the way I dress. Maybe because it has something to do with my body and my height. But I don't care. One time I have mistaken to an 18-year-old student one time.
Until now, we are still curious about not telling us her age.
She is a new friend and one of the riders girlfriend. We just recently bond with her.
Is it because she is ashamed of it?
What do you think?

To many people, the older they are, the more reluctant they are to talk about age. I myself don't want to talk about age. Some don't mind talking about it.

I sometimes hesitant to share my age because the moment I reveal my age that the start of never ending questions.. do you have a boyfriend? what's your plan? do you plan to be married someday? etc. and it doesn't stop there.. so maybe that's the reason of one of your friends..

My age is not a secret....61. But I have been know to be evasive....old enough to know better, young enough to care.

Yes I agree with you there are lot of people who are reluctant to speak about their age. But I don't have such issues. I share my age with everyone who intends to know my age.

i am a proud 57 summers old. although i don't dress my age and sometimes mistakenly said that i am 45 years old only, i do not get irked though, if they cannot guess my age.

I don't know but for us Filipino telling our true age seems a big issue for others. I don't mind telling my true age, well sometimes I lied in putting my true age in internet.

its hard to divulge personal information in the internet, so many scammers.
Kids, some men are like that, he he. But since you are pointing to a woman, hmm, something fishy if she won't tell the truth that she has kid.

If anyone asks me my age I tell them my exact age. Some people don't like revealing their age.
Some people have no problem and reveal their exact age.

I think it is alright for her to keep her secret. At least she didn't tell a lie to you with a wrong number. Sometimes I think people are just so gossip to want to know more people's privacy, such as age, job, salary and so on. Sometimes it can be annoying.

If it is needed, I don't mind saying it. I don't ask women their age as I know it can be a sensitive topic for some.

My age just this past year has bothered me. I am 66 still very active but realizing I am old
